Further up the mountain, ignoring the objective to acquire the shadow scroll, go across the bridge mentioned in collectible #2 and a bit further on, on the left side past a patch of long grass you will see a golded statue on the cliff just ahead, you can jump and dash to reach it. Just beyond them is a small hut with a bridge above it, the golden statue is located behind this.ģ. This is on the west side of the area from the last collectible, up a small slope you will find a log fire surrounded by several red tents. On the east side of the docks, close to where you can eavesdrop on a conversation, you can jump from the end of a dock with a lantern onto a green platform, the golden statue is just around the corner from here.Ģ. Mission: The Elder’s Scroll (3 Collectibles)ġ. ![]() The collectible itself is located at the top of the large building where Leader Katashi usually is, to reach it go around the back of the building, you can scale the cliff which has numerous tombstones laying around, climb upwards all the way to the upper right where you will be facing the building as in the first image, double jump and dash to reach the 2nd highest rooftop, go around the corner and you can climb through an open window containing the blueprints. This collectible is only accessible after completing the mission ‘Mysterious Assigment’, earlier in the game it is blocked off by wooden boards. As part of the story you will be given a house and be instructed to go inside, the blueprints will be right on the ground in plain sight, impossible to miss.ģ. Nevertheless, I am sad that this game ultimately killed the studio.2. Overall it is clear from my review that I didn't like the game, it is way less fun, and it is obviously the result of a troubled development brought to the team by an overly-ambitious scope. ![]() Yeah, because now you no longer have a shadow-fueled meter to use your abilities, they have been downgraded to simple cooldowns that are slower if you are near a light-source. The levels even if larger they are only used for one half during a mission, leaving the other part empty and lifeless, breaking the immersion.Īnd even if the graphic someone could tell has improved, it is now harder to discern enemies from scenery and when they tried their best to reintroduce a "classic" mode, it is clear the old main-mechanic concerning shadows does not work anymore due to the less-sylized look. When in the first instalment of the series you could be insta killed when discovered, now you have to painfully play what is in reality a minigame of timings, to get out of the situation, because gone is your ability to kill enemies instantly that would have otherwise allowed you to cover the mistake. Sequel to the (what I would call) indie marvel Aragami of 2016, this game is more of its predecessor in all the wrong areas.Ĭhild of 5 hellish development years, Aragami 2 presents itself with a more complex combat system, streamlined levels and a new realistic aesthetic.
